*Watching the TX Gubernatorial Debate*
If this is the best Texas has to offer, I weep for the future.
The two candidates that have the lowest place in the polls, Carole Strayhorn and Chris Bell, are basically making each response to the assorted questions a campaign commercial, as opposed to actually answering the question.
The most prepared candidate in terms of debate skills appears to have been Kinky Friedman, although he doesn't seem fit to be a governor.
Rick Perry, the incumbant, was sitting on his high horse throwing around smoke and mirrors. In some cases, the mirrors shattered and embedded themselves in the other candidates.
Texas public schools apparently suck (Big Topic of the night).
My Thoughts:
Carole is full of horse hockey and has poofy hair.
Chris isn't as full of horse hockey, but isn't a confident man that has the knack for dynamic leadership and parts his hair on the right.
Rick is full of horse hockey and parts his hair on the right.
Kinky has some promise, but not the experience needed and wears a hat.
