Has it really been 3 weeks?
Wow, I feel a little guilty. For all my passion about coming back, I still haven't updated regularly. If it's any consolation my myspace hasn't been visited much either.
Anyhow, lets see, what can I tell you. Finished Into the Woods, which was a lot of fun. Finished Anne Frank, which was less fun, but more glory. Drama is starting to kick me in the butt big time. Who woulda thought?
My grades are suffering right now because Anne Frank was so ridiculous, but I have about a month lull before stuff starts again, so I'll be able to get rid of a few c's, hopefully.
I'm coming up to placerville this weekend to see adding machine. I'm staying with Kayli, and it should be grand fun. I'm looking forward to being with friends again.
Still having issues making friends here. I've noticed that while we're doing a play, people are friendly because we're working together, but now that the play is over they don't say hello in the hallways. So, it was good for a while but starting to go down again. I'm not really sure what to think of it, except that maybe I should try harder. or maybe not, I don't really know.
Clothes and cell phone are a big thing here. It's a huge part of the culture and it's what people care about. There are a few exceptions, but not many.
At church the kids are nice enough. I still enjoy going for the uplift, but we aren't paticularly close, except for steph and cali. We have some pretty good times, but I think we should start having parties at people houses like we did in placerville.
There are 3-6 kids in my seminary class, including me, depending on the day. It's fun, and I like seminary. Good start to the day.
All's quiet in the dating front. No flirting or dates, but I noticed thats another thing about San Marin. the only couples I've seen are hispanic, and they have their own subculture. people don't really date here.
Feeling like I need to lose some weight, as usual. Can't get any romantic leads with these hips. So I've started Slim in 6, just an excersize thing. Hoping for decent results.
There's really nothing interesting happening. Just school, boring rehersals and sleep. Although now that I get to go home more often, I'm feeling a little more relaxed.
Still think about Placerville all the time, and I was chatting with Kayli and we both got very nostalgic. I still miss it very much.
I went to the dentist yesterday, and now my whole mouth hurts. Gosh, those little scrapers are sharp!
