Nothing seems so bad when it snows. I know, the ground being soaked, that it won't stick, won't last. But it's still so beautiful, so pure. It may be merely transient, but, then again, everything is. Pain, hurt, love, life. None of it is forever, though for the latter two, we often wish it could be. Doesn't work like that though. We've got to enjoy things while they last.
So right now, I'm just sitting near the window, watching the rainy-snow fall, enjoying this one moment of pure happiness I've had in a long time. It won't last, but while it's here, it's nice. And there'll always be another one. They're just not always apparent. Happiness doesn't always come with laziness. Get up off yer ass! ;)
Life's full of little epiphanies. I reckon I've just had one myself.
