(no subject)
So here I am at work.
I meant to write something yesterday because I felt I was having such a good day. I woke up at 9ish because I had a docs appointment to get my physical for school at 10:45. So sleeping in is a +. I went and I had a really nice doctor...she was a physicians assistant or something...somehow that means your not a full doctor but you have more time and aren't late to appointments and are just down right nicer and friendlier. Everything was chill on that front. Then I got lunch in Ballston with my mom at Tara Thai which was nice...we talked about getting ready for school and whatnot. Went to work around 1...was really hyper/happy for a good two hours and crashed around 3...but I was still chill because it was only 4 hours of work instead of 8. I got to both practice the piano and go to the gym...oh and watch part of the Little Mermaid which my sister put on (NOT ME). All of which is good. And I would have hung out with Sarah and Pat had they not been creepies and watching creepy things. :P
My roommate finally emailed me...the day I had the time/courage to email her. So I sent her a response. Hopefully we'll work all the stuff out...like tvs and refridgerators and carpets. I hope/think she is nice. Maybe we'll get lunch or something cuz she's only in Ashburn. Hopefully I will be like "Hey how about you meet me in Tysons....its ever so convenient" and not drive to Ashburn.
Um...did you know UVA doesn't have journalism as a major? Nor any real journalism calsses? They have like two "News writing" or something classes but come on. Not to say I am/was going to go into journalism...for 1 or 1000000 reasons...but it was just an IDEA of putting WRITING/ENGLISH to use in an actual PAYING PRACTICAL job so I won't be living in a BOX somewhere having paied thousands of dollars for a college education to major in English.
Hey Ciana or Quyen (prob Quyen cuz u always seem to know about this stuff)...I need to ask you about ISIS because I dont know how to log in or anything...and the fourth is approaching!
I dont think I told you, livejournal world, that I am auditioning for piano lessons. You have to but I dont think I do the jury thing cuz its just a 200 level class. I'm going to play a Bach Invention and Chopin's Nocturne in...E minor? Yeah...so the practicing is crucial. I am 90% sure I dont need to memorize it but I should drop them a line. And figure out all the legistics of when to sign up and stuff.
