(no subject)
I've been so content lately... you know, except for last night when Nate pissed me off.
As a result of this (Nate), I forgot to give him the paper from Westcott to sign. I returned to my room mad at Nate and myself to call Westcott and apologize. We talked for just over an hour, and I explained the whole Nate thing and felt much better afterward. (Since spending 5 days with him in Philly, I've seen him at least twice everyday since, and spoken with him on the phone every evening. Our shortest conversation was about 20 minutes. Monday and Tuesday he called me for information and last night I called for the above mentioned reason).
Classes are going quite well for now. If they weren't going well the first week I'd be worried though, so that's no indication. I've got such a hodgepodge of classes and none of them are particularly difficult per se. Brecke will make me work the hardest, but conversely, he's the one I want to do the best for, and I'm sure the two are related.
My Saturday class only meets 5 times total starting 21 January. So this weekend I'm going to be in Springfield and I'll get to stay with Derek and them at their new place. The best news on the home front is that he got his cast off. He still has to wear the boot thing on his left foot, but only when he walks. He says it hurts like hell, and looks really nasty, but he doesn't care: the cast is gone, and that's enough for him.
So from now until my 7:20 class, I'm going to take a leisurely morning of drinking my favorite freshly ground coffee (oh how my brother loves me) out of my President's mug that I got in Philly. It's cool and awesome and so totally me.
