Coyotes
I found a cow hoof while walking in the faire parking lot this morning. No blood, a bit of fur around the top of it with the stubs of the bones coming about an inch or two up from the middle.
Coyotes sort of freak me out.
Also: a pack surrounded the full moon drum jam around 2 AM during a break in the drumming. We heard a yelp from one side, then a few more from the opposite side and then we saw one looking down into the wash from the desert from the first side. Dogs were quickly gathered and we started drumming and shouting. Just sort of creepy.
