What does one do with an extra hour? One of my classes has been cancelled due to Yom Kippur and -- annoyingly -- it is not the earliest one, nor is it the latest one. It's the one in the middle. So now I have this time to do with myself whatever I so please until 2:30 (well, 2:15 if you count the trek back to Olin) and I'm kind of lost. I've kind of grown used to having days where I'm in class nonstop -- those are my days that I'm actually doing something.
Though now that Pippin has officially kicked off, I'm going to be doing a lot of something very soon. Fall Break just stands in the way first.
Two things that make me sad about going away for fall break: 1) missing Waiting for Godot 2) Missing Cyril. I've become accustomed to spending the weekends with him.
But I'm glad I'll be going somewhere and seeing an old friend. Everybody else would be gone anyway, and I'd rather be sitting around doing nothing in a new place with someone I haven't gotten to see in a while than in an old place with virtually nobody. Besides, it's an option that isn't going home. I don't feel like going home.
And I'll still have thursday night, monday night, and tuesday night to spend with Cyril. Maybe I'll even pay him a quick visit tonight...
