This past weekend I played host to the lovely lazy_daze, who came from London to get to know my marvellous home city - and who keeps reminding me that I haven't posted in aaaaaages. I haven't even said anything about having been to London three weeks ago, where I had the chance to see both Colin Morgan (in his play and at the stage door) AND Benedict Cumberbatch (in his play as the Creature and at the stage door), OMG! Why's time flying by so fast? It seems incredible it's April already! I'll be flying back to London in four weeks to try and see Frankenstein again, which was too amazing for words. Like, seriously. So worth it to get up at 5am to queue at the National for hours to get a Day Ticket. Next time I'll be even earlier! ;)
A comprehensive update should follow at some point, also re: Manchester, for which I'm excited - for the city most definitely; just not for the academic opportunities, but well. Whatever. UK for a year! :D
