Hmm... now that I reread it, yeah, I guess it is. Baelrog time! I believe the Discworld book my co-author is referencing is Thud! though, which deals very much with the Dwarven underground mines below Ankh-Morpork, some of the eerie-ness that lurks there, and a lot of their culture. If you ever get around to reading the books, you'll find half of our lengthy monologue-type exposition for Discworld closely mirrors similar paragraphs in the source material. Because it's hard to be as weird as Discworld.
Yep. Probably New^50 or something :) There's some fun scenes from the books where the characters end up below the city.
Well, you know what everyone says about being with the Doctor. Unless Davros ever becomes a companion. Then there'd be a lot of rolling along with the running (which seems a much better idea anyway. They should just all buy personal scooters).
Heh, possibly. I have no idea since my co-author doesn't tell me what she's planning (which so isn't fair because I tell her everything. Against her will, but that's beside the point). I definitely thought of Hansel and Gretel for the oven too. As for the song, I believe my co-author used a song from her childhood for that which she has an mp3 of somewhere.
