(no subject)
i was planning to update before i came away only bernard (my laptop) crashed on friday night and wont turn on again. he just keeps re-starting himself. oh dear. im hoping mum and dad will be able to take him to see if he can be fixed whilst im away, least i dont need him in the next wee while. i just hope its not too drastic.
i went out with mum and dad on saturday to whitehaven (our local town) for the maritime festival, its a relatively new things they've started there. its pretty small but nice tp have something like that locally all the same. they have tall ships there and a fair and stall etc. we saw an aerial display by an RAF tornado which was pretty cool, its the one where the wings can move back and come together with the tail piece. its funky. i love looking at the tall ships, i desperately want to go sailing on one when im well enough. it was ok being with me parents, i really hate ahving to be so dependent on them again (whitehaven has no shopmobility or anything), it always used to be like that but i just put up with it cause i felt i had noe choice. now i have it different when im away and its really difficult to go back. and they way they are with me is just like its always been, it makes me feel about 12 again. but anyway, i cant be bothered moaning anymore, its all i ever seem to do at the moment is moan about them.
they took me up to carlisle yesterday to put me on the train. there was only one from whitehaven and it didnt fit in with when i neede to go so they took me up. they always like it when they can do things fro them, they need to feel useful,. guess i should keep them happy now and again. we went out for lunch at wetherspoons which was quite nice. we had an ok chat for once, not me being bombarded with stupid questions. i understand they awnt to know things, but i do tell them stuff, they're just nosey and ask really silly things. anyway, again, no moaning.
i got up here ok, no problems. we went out for dinner last night with jenny's family (again to a wetherspooons, they'er everywhere!). all the family are going to be giong different places over the summer so it was kind of a goodbye meal. it was really nice. i used to wish i lived closer to my family so we could do things like that. we had sunday lunch and belgian waffles for dessert, mmmm! :D
we're gonne rest today as much as we can i think. we fly tomorrow at 3.30 so we dont have to be up early which is good. im really looking forward to seeing everything ive heard about and seen on pictures. and now its here im excited that we get to be together for a while. its come around really quickly, its very strange.
