There are some conversations you never think you'll have.

A man came up to the counter to check out a book this afternoon. I recognized him, but in my job I will usually see everyone at the university at least twice in their college career. So I'm checking out his book to him when he says:

"Didn't I see you at the immunization clinic? Weren't you going to Israel?"
Suddenly I remembered who he was.
"Yes I did. It was a great trip. Aren't you the guy who got rabies in Brazil?"
"Oh yeah! Still have it."
"And how is that working out for you?"
"Best souvenir I've ever had. Bit twitchy though."
"Well, good luck with that," says I.
"Thanks."

And with that he walked away. This proves that there are some odd people in this town.
