On this date in 1990 Producers confirm that Milli Vanilli didn't sing on their album. What's funny is watching all those "I love the 80s" shows with Peace and trying to explain how this stuff hit us then. Today, I really don't think it would be nearly as big a deal. I mean look at Ashlee Simpson - a few jokes told about her, etc, but since no one really admired her talent to begin with, what harm was done? I read that the stuff they use can make even someone like me sound like a pop star. Not that I want to sound like a pop star - I'd rather sing some edgy power ballad ala Lita Ford.

I just got one of those e-mail forwards that is a tear jerker of a poem about a car wreck and how the woman and her 2 boys survived because her dead husband is now an angel and pulled them from the wreckage. I'm so warm and fuzzy right now! whatever. Why do people read, write, share crap like that? Is it supposed to make me feel happy to be alive? or like I have an angel watching over me? And why can't I delete them before reading it? It's like each time I get one, I have to at least skim it to see if maybe this one will be different. umm yeah.
We're supposed to leave for Tampa on Saturday, but Peace has this big project due next week, so if she can't get it done Friday, we have to wait until Monday night to leave =/ Blah. I want to go now. I want to get my check and just BE THERE already. Well, to be honest, I just want to leave home lol. There is a trip I am looking forward to, however, in January. I hear Arizona is nice that time of year! yay!
