What are they/it?
I have been watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. Towards the end one of the enemies mention the "Lilin". He speaks of them almost as if they are the human race... but not quite. I looked it up in multiple dictionaries and it doesn't exist as an entry. So I am asking my friends, (especially Jon) if they know what it/they are. I think it might be part of the translation from Japanese that is getting me confused and why I can't find it in a dictionary. If you know the series or know what the word means, please feel free to comment.
