Okay, straight up.
I'm really kind of enjoying Moonlight. Yeah it's hella campy and stupid and such a rip-off on Angel it's pretty ridiculous, but so far? I like it. It's not my new favourite show or anything. (That distinction is belonging to Pushing Daisies, with Chuck in a close second.) But it's fun. And Sophia Myles is great and I'm liking the main dude. Jason Dohring is basically playing Logan as an old vampire instead of a spoiled teenager, but I can live with that. (And is it just me but are they so hanging out in the Neptune Grand?)
I really wish they'd quit it with the woobly flashbacks, though. We get it's a flashback, you don't have to wave your arms and go "doodoodo, doodoodo". Seriously. And the comparisons to Angel abound, cause Shannyn Sossamon is so a serious cross between Darla and Drusilla. And Mick is obviously Angel. I mean, he's Irish and they're practically driving the same fucking car around LA. And Beth is so Kate Lockley without the sucking.
But yes, I like it anyway.
