Seriously like woah. All he needed was to go get his lip pierced and play some Dashboard while sitting in the corner and crying. Yeesh.
Iris and I are having a very emo week. She was singing while he was all in the black suit and the rain. I'll have to get her to send me the lyrics and make mad emo!Spidey icons.
Um, anyway, it was okay. Meh. (Sorry,
weasleytook. I know we love the Spidey, but yeah.) First off, WAY too many plotlines and villains. The movie would be going and the black Venom stuff would show up and I'd go, "Oh, Venom! Forgot about you!" And then after a while the Sandman would show up and I'd be like, "Oh, hey, Sandman! Forgot about you!" And then Harry would show up and I'd be like, "Oh, Harry! There you are! Forgot you were in this movie!"
Also, waaaayyy too much crap about Peter and MJ. I just didn't care mostly. Peter was being an emo jerk most of the movie, and MJ was just whiny.
The good: Gwen Stacy man. Gwen Stacy is where it's at and I loved Bryce Dallas Howard. I think she was what I was most excited about in seeing this movie. You know, aside from Bruce Campbell, who RULED. Plus that bit with the champagne guys was hilarious.
There were some really great laugh out loud moments in the movie too that I really enjoyed. Of course, now I can't really remember them. Oh, it'll come back to me.
The Sandman was pretty freaking cool. Although I really REALLY wanted to give Thomas Hayden Church some chapstick the whole movie. And Venom kinda ruled, although I'm still not sure about how believable Eric Foreman is as Eddie Brock.
Joycelyn's watching to the news really freaking loud. I have my headphones in and I can still hear every word. Urgh.
