No Name for This Entry
I am not sure I understand this journal that everyone can read. ;) Anyway, it is a sad time, and we all know why.
I am actually doing Lent for the first time in my life. I mean, of course, Lissa and I "gave up" things like saying no. ;) ;) And the last time, we gave up Lent. But as my husband is in training to be a priest, and yes, he CAN be married, I think it is a good idea to have a better understanding of these religious practices. Interesting. I gave up Coke. And if you know me, that is like a Fish giving up Water. I dont think giving up m&m's is really doing it right.
By the way, we pray for those who are not with us, and those who are hurting from mourning, (and the sick), so if you are interested, I will add your name. I am not a "Jesus freak," but I can understand how a universal love of a higher power can be beneficial in life.
That is all, really. Oh, by the way, cracking your knuckles is really bad for you. I sprained my left thumb by pulling it out. Grr. Now I have my left hand wrapped so as to prevent the "opposable" aspect of thumb usage. My job will be hard, being that I am a lefty. But I got some nice painkillers. Mwa ha ha ha.
