In my 1k today (which is the project with the brownies. In fact I'm going to call it the Brownie Project), this guy introduced himself:
Ian was there. Blessed Ian, lovely Ian, lucky Ian with his darksoft voice and his dimples and his pale eyes that were either blue or green, she always forgot, and his ridiculous, ridiculous hair. She'd known women who would have killed for that hair, but they were all in prison now. On them, those murderous women with fits of strife and envy, it would have been long and dark and flowing, the kinks, the curls, the russet highlights, a beauteous riot, something that spoke. On him, it looked as though someone had pointed a crossbow at his forehead and shouted Hands up!
