So I gave the Write or Die website a try, just for kicks and nickels, because I've never done it before. Apparently, when I have no idea what I'm going to write about (or why, for that matter) I do things like ( this: )
It does seem like it would be really useful for NaNo. I might have to use it then myself. I've heard from several people that the site is what really pushed them through and got them their word count.
Yeah; especially if you have to balance other real-life shenanigans and NaNo, it would probably be useful!
I might use it this year, haha. Last year I found keeping up the daily word count challenging, and would write nothing and then a lot in one day, so I might use it to regulate this year.
I think I'll probably give it a shot at turning it into an actual story. Though I'll probably have to go back and change it to past tense...
I like the website. I've heard a lot about it the last couple years, but never used it. I want to try it on a stricter phase, because I did the middle one and never stopped writing long enough for it to start yelling at me or whatever it does.

I gave the site a try, and it was fun and how I am hooked. I'm definitely using it for my daily word-counts during National Novel Writing Month, haha.
