Hi all, aaaages since I last updated so when I saw this new pic feature thing I thought I'd give it a go, and in the process let you know that contorary to popular belief, I am still alive!
Been having an okish time of it lately, the coolest thing that's happened since my last update is that Ian and I won a big UCD debating competition and got the right to represent to college in one of the biggest competitions in the world in Oxford this Friday and Saturday, I can't wait! And it's really about the closest we can come to representing Ireland in debating as well which adds another cool level to it!
In other news I'm now a fully fledged photo journalist for the college newspaper 'The University Obeserver' and I wrote my first article for them on Saturday (about students getting upgrades but not places for this college year) for the issue that comes out tomorrow, so I'm waiting to see how much editing they had to do on it just to make it useable! I'm really enjoying doing it though and might post a couple of pics from the various assignments they have me do if anyone's interested.
The scariest thing that's happened to me in the last few days happened in a History lecture (yes contorary to popular belief arts students have lectures!) when I was told that lectures end in 2 weeks, and exams are two weeks after that! Arrgh, doesn't even seem like we've started! Actually, Avril can prove that I have lectures as she came in for one of them last Friday which was cool, hope you feel better soon!
