4 people i know engaged in the last 4 days.... wow. i'm hoping that tomorrow breaks this streak.
i had a family cousin reunion in montana last weekend. it was a blast. i seriously have an amazing family. my cousin brought his friend from germany that was visiting and that was really fun. very cool guy, soon to be engaged, and i'm soooo excited for him. i even learned to say some fun words and phrases in german. such an ugly language though...lol
work is crazy busy, as always. tomorrow i have my final intern presentation which should go really well. i'm getting in to work early around 7-7:30ish to prepare for a day of solid meetings until roughly 4... then happy hour at 4:30 to celebrate the end of our intern project. wooooot. after that i have the pleasure of joining a certain fella of mine.
i've been saying it for over a month now but i'm really going to try to make more of an effort to get my life in order and actually use my day planner. i think it will be A LOT easier when i get my company phone because then i can just use that calendar to store everything.
i'm getting quite excited for my last planned vacation next weekend with the boy. we went a couple years ago and had a blast so i can't wait to travel with him again. it's nice to get away... together. should be fun.
i feel like my life is in kind of an interesting transition. i don't really know how else to describe it but "interesting." i think transitioning to a career job and moving out is contributing a lot to it. other than that, it will be very interesting (for lack of a better word) to see where my life goes from here. the things i once felt so sure of are no longer as certain and i'm surprisingly open to what could lie ahead. i'm already planning my escape to england, and now germany as well, for next summer. depending on where life takes me, it could be a very... interesting... trip. but until then, i will just continue to enjoy this unique stage of my life and wait for the next stage to come. i think anything is better than last year so the only way to go is up!
interesting post, eh? ;-)
