Cleaning is, and always has been, quiet therapeutic for me. Today inspired by a stumble! onto a site recommending an easy way to clean a microwave (boil some water with some squeezed lemon in it and let it sit while the steam loosens debris)I decided to tackle the kitchen. I spent nearly three hours washing down the walls, scrubbing the floor, thoroughly cleaning the coffee pot, cleaning the oven and stove, wiping down the outside of the microwave/oven/dishwasher with glass cleaner. I became fast friends with an old toothbrush and bleach to get into the tight spots. I even cleaned the toaster and dumped the toast crumbs out.
I was going to clean more but my Mom came home and chastised me for using the wrong vacuum. I didn't know there was such a thing. Regardless it kind of took the wind out of my sails.
