back to life, back to reality
Ok, going to do an update and cover the basic elements of life...Social, Career, Relationship, etc.
Relationship Status: Happy and still in love.
Wes went back to Ohio on Wednesday after a nice two week stint here in California. He wasn't suppose to stay that long but there were complications with scheduling blah blah and I was happy he did. Funny how the time we spend together goes by in the blink of an eye and now that he's been gone for two days it feels like I haven't seen him in months. Actually, it isn't funny - it sucks.
Social Status: Hermit
Still not that into going out and partying it up like I use to. I haven't seen several people in over a month - rather sad I know. This weekend I'll be forced to leave my cozy little nest as a few important friends are celebrating birthdays. I just feel the need to be alone after in my evening hours lately.
Career Status: Whirlwind
My boss was fired this morning thus responsibility was thrown my way. Unfortunately the new owners have a very, very vague idea of what is going on so I suppose it is my turn to step up and not be a slackass. The way things are going at the company are less than desirable. It is a paycheck though, eh? We'll see how it goes...I suppose that is all I can say right now. There will be some positive changes going on - it will just take some patience and diligence to get there.
Extracurricular Status: On the brink
Things with the start-up company are going well. Our business plan and financial are 95% done. The next few weeks Aaron and Brooks will be doing our elevator pitch and presentation for the Economic Fuel contest. There will be some investment capitalists there so hopefully someone will be taken with our idea. I'll be filing our fictitious business name statement this week, opening some bank accounts and filing all the appropriate licenses. Hopefully everything will continue to magically fall into place like it has. The support and optimism we've received has been outstanding and well, surprising.
