Yesterday's Upper and Lower GI series was… fun. My tech was funny, the 'fizzes' made me gag and the constracts made me want to vomit. Good times. The tech says that he didn't see anything obviously wrong, but he'll be going through it all thoroughly and forwarding them to my GI; she should have them today. Not going to bug her since I'll be seeing her next Wednesday.
In other news, Tuesday there was no power so we got the day off. A bunch of us went out to breakfast (Norman paid!) and chatted for awhile; it was really nice. I then was all zoomy at Villa. Ordered a new bodice that should be here tomorrow (need to get Tracking Number), went to Michael's to get the makings for a new leather pouch for
salvius, and went grocery shopping with
midnightesper. I also went to the eye doctor (again) to get things squared away with the eyes and my OBGYN.
I then got a very nice, relaxing evening with
gm_avie (remember her? The Birthday girl?) and
salvius. We started watching some Korean film called, 'The Host' which we stopped because of teh BADDNESS. It was so bad. And not at all scary. And weird. Those crazy Koreans, the revial the Japanese in their weird ass movie makin'!
Yesterday was my GI series.
gm_avie then treated me to a veggie whopper which was yummy. Then we hit up Bed Bath and Beyond to hunt for stuff that we couldn't find which was sad. Afterwards we headed into White Plains for the weekly Farmers Market and Walmart.
The market was really cute and I'd love to go back if it were open when I wasn't working! Walmart was a HUGE success in that we got two baskets for the faire on Saturday, some salsa and refried beans for me and I dropped off my glass script so I can actually see with them!
We then got to relax at home and it was a really nice day. Wish I could have more days like that.
My stomach is still angry with me so I'm drinking lots of water to make it a little happier. PLUS I'm due for my period any second now so my stomach is angry AND I'm bloated! Sppt!
Tonight, pizza, calzones and salad for the birfday grrl. Oh and cake. Can't forget the CAKE!
