Why? Because today they announced a new Bootleg from Ani. This was recorded up in Boston this past November with songs that still have yet to be recorded on any albums, save for this bootleg. I know all of this because I got me 'Rightous' mail and couldn't get to the site to find out how much it is.
So I call Avie and have her go look. I'm being sad because I'm broke (see Terry Moore fund and how much art really costs!) and really can't spend the extra moola on a 2 disc cd that will be something like $30. So I'm forlorn. I'm sad and hurting and still wanting my CD because I had blood work done.
That makes no sense, does it? Well in the world of Kate when you (you, meaning me) you get a CD as a bribe for being a good girl and not making it worse for all parties involved. This steams from the time I had mono and outright refused to get blood work done because I hate needles.
I also have two tattoos which took a heck of a lot more time to do and I'm sure should have hurt more, but really, having blood drawn is the suxxors.
Anyway I'm here whimpering about hurting and no new Ani CD for this chica until Sept (when 'Canon' is set to release) and the following happens:
"No way!"
"What?"
"No fucking way?!"
"No fucking way who? Is this a knock-knock joke?"
"No way is she charging this!"
"How much, how much?"
"$10"
"No way!"
"Way!"
"No fucking way!"
"How much are the other bootlegs, I can't remember."
"Maybe it's a promo…"
"That doesn't sound right…"
"Damn machine is taking forever… yup, $10 for all of them."
"No way!"
So she ordered me (with my credit card, I might add) the Boston Live 11.10.06 and Rome Live - 11.15.04 for the grand total of $23.93.
I'm happy.
