"Pressure! Pushing Down on me, pushing down on you"

I'm a little wiped, but still feelin' good. Working in the Repair Department this week and I'm learning all sorts of nifty things about receiving things and quoting.
There are two big downfalls with being back there:
1) It's in the back and away from my cube
2) My hands get dirty by handling the parts. I don't like my hands dirty and metallic feeling...
But I'm back in my cube, digging out from the onslaught of paperwork that has attacked my desk in the two mornings that I have been vacant. Stupid paperwork.

Playland was sooo much fun on Sunday! We went to the boardwalk part for a bit before the park opened. It sorta smelled like home, but no way can it compare. They tried so hard to make it like a real boardwalk, but kinda failed. Makes me want to go to Wildwood, NJ or Ocean City again.
And pumpkin totally let me win at air hockey. I wasn't good at all. Nope, not me. Pumpkin SO left the goal WIDE open for me to score. I didn't at all once make a really hard shot. Nope, not me! We also got to play skeetball, which I had forgotten that I really liked. AND I got to shot things at the fake firing range. It was a really really wonderful day. Totally going to do this again next year and avoid the mean ride that made me too dizzy.
We started watching 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'. I said it before and I'll say it again, soooo pretty! I can't wait for more movies! I wanna go to NARNIA!

In other news, we're picking out colors! Yaaay! I keep leaning towards this very pretty purple/blue, but they don't match ANY of the comforters that I keep eyeing. Not sure what to do here other than to pour over color samples. Perhaps a shade of green… *ponder* Even though I keep saying the I don't want orange… maybe a nice shade of melon will do. I'm not sure, but we're going over the swatches tonight.
gm_avie has been a doll trying to help me figure out what I want in the new room. From color samples to reminding me that I hate my current comforter to figuring out colors for the other rooms in the house… She totally rocks, as per usual.
Right. Enough avoiding work. Need to get cracking on all of these orders so I can finally see what my inbox looks like.
