(no subject)
Up until now I've never really realized how bad Adam Lazzarra's voice really is. Karen burnt me a CD with Summer Stars on it and I'm listening to it thinking to myself, "Is this what the judges on American Idol have to deal with? Egotistic guys who can't really sing?"
Juh-eeze.
Mind-possessing Adam... making me like someone who can't sing.
Yesterday I went to see Maroon5 and John Mayer with Karen and my mom. -laughs-
I have good news to report. It was so awesome. I've never been to a concert with my mom [unless you count Hanson when I was like 7] and she's so hysterical. She sits in her seat the whole time and watches. Meanwhile, Karen and I are singing at the top of our lungs.
Good times... ;)
Anyway, it was really funny because during Maroon5 I just kept thinking about Adam Lazzarra! The lead singer from Maroon5 [who's name is also Adam. I know, it's cosmic] was jumping up and down swinging his hips and prancing around the stage singing his little pink lungs out. He had really good control of his vocal mechanism, though.
God, I'm such a nerd.
John Mayer is extremely talented. He pulled a Jimi Hendrix and played his guitar behing his back and and one point in the show the other guitarist went behind John Mayer and played John's guitar through John's arms! Then John played the other guys guitar behind his back. Oh man. It was so awesome.
The crowd for this was hilarious. They were all on speed or something. Honestly, I've never seen so many mini skirts, flip flops, and wife beaters in all my life... well maybe in Veronica's closet. ;P
