(no subject)
Okay! So I'm begining to get really stressed (bring on the ulcers). I just counted and I only have 8 more days of classes in this semester. EIGHT!!! That would be like a week and a day if they were consecuetive. This is not counting Fridays, weekends, or Thanksgiving Break - Counting those it's more like 20. Which is less than a month. Within those eight days I have 2 papers, 4 tests, and a composition project (in other words a piece that I have to write). In addition to one concert, one musicale, working a 3-day band clinic, DO and madrigal meetings + ladies' night, MENC meetings, three nursing home visits, and Madrigal Set-up, rehearsal with three performance nights. I'm not even going to start thinking about finals and juries. ARGH!!!! I need energy!!! Oh AND I'm running short on money and my grandma just retired so that sucks b/c she's the one I'd always go to when I'm broke (Awful I know but if she wants to give it. . .)
OH and I need to sell tix for Madrigal. Anyone want one? Friday and Saturday night are $32 which includes a full like four course renaissance meal or Thursday night -$10 which is mainly a dress rehearsal and there might be stops and you get wassail and plum pudding. I know no one wants to pay but it would be awesome if you came. The only profit DO gets goes to the scholarship fund (a scholarship that I will be trying out for this next year) so it's for a great cause.
OKAY! So the main reason I start this entry... yes there was a reason besides complaining, is because I have a concert on Friday night at 8 (EVERYONE is invited) it's free, you don't have to dress-up, I actually like most of the pieces we are playing. And afterward we are going to see Harry Potter sometime between 10:30 and 12 - I can't decide (b/c it's coming out on friday). I need to look up times. It's going to be great fun and all that junk and if you wanna hang out it's not manditory that you attend my concert. Just get in touch with me (or Lucas) if you are game and hopefully by then I will have made up my mind about a few things. Have a wonderful day!!! <3 Brandi
