Riley's eyes glowed blue. He looked at Cyrus' aura which was still as headstrong as it always was, but did he see regret at the back somewhere? Nah, it couldn't have been.

Lucario had appeared. Salamence and Metagross were not far behind. They were ready to strike at Cyrus, but Lucario felt the air and bade them keep their distance. This was a matter between them.

He raised his right hand, glowing bright blue with aura.
"The greater world is such a different thing to what you perceive it to be. Your blow was fatal, I will die and yet... yet perhaps I see more clearly."
Now Riley sat up. Nevermind the blood. He reached for his hat that had fallen to the side and placed it on his head. Lucario was about to rush forward but Riley raised his hand to indicate that he should go no further.
"Believe what you must. My words will do no difference. I know this much already. But I feel pity for you, if only because I know such."
