Captain America and stuffs
Yay, another post! So, two major real-life-related things: 1) School starts up again in a week, and 2) I recently returned home from a three-week trip to continental Europe. Thing One means more craziness, but also hopefully lots of fun stuff as well, as all the school music ensembles will be starting up again and I look forward to playing with my classmates. Thing Two was significant as I had never been out of the US before and there were multiple language barriers I was nervous about. Fortunately I went with a large group of classmates from my school, including my sweetheart, so that made things a bit less nerve-wracking. The trip went well overall, and I survived two ten-hour flights, so yay for new experiences! (Except for getting hit on while in a public restroom; I could have done without that. So classy. /sarcasm)
Went and saw Captain America with kiffie. Overall non-spoiler thoughts: Shiny! Fun! Full of actors I've seen in other things! 8D The cast fit together well. I liked the references to Thor and Iron Man. There was a nice blend of cheesiness and seriousness. Stay after the credits for more shiny. I am looking forward to the Avengers movie next year.
