Just watched Wil Wheaton on The Big Bang Theory. Hilarious. XD
I also saw a live production of Pirates of Penzance over the weekend.
It was a great show. It was absolutely hilarious to watch, and the performers all did a fine job. The singing was wonderful, and the acting was delightful. The entire ensemble seemed to be having a lot of fun, which made it enjoyable to watch them. Both the pirates and the policemen were very amusing. The fourth wall was shattered several times throughout the evening, most often by the Pirate King and Major General Stanley, resulting in much laughter from the audience.
Apparently, there exists on DVD a recorded stage performance of Pirates of Penzance as done by Opera Australia, with Anthony Warlow as the Pirate King. There is a promotional clip from the Major General's Song here. PotC fans would do well to watch the clip and observe the appearance of the Pirate King, as he may look somewhat familiar. XD
On a completely different note, here is a video of the duel from Shakespeare's Macbeth done Star Wars-style. It works rather well, actually.
