You know, I really don't update this thing as much as I should. Maybe it is because I don't always have stuff that people want to read about. Or that I feel like writing about. And I suppose quizzes do get old after a while(though I think that was one of the original reasons I got this thing).

Well, school's back in session and I'm already wishing it was midterm. My recital is looming and getting ever closer. I am ready to get that over with. Only reason I'm ever in the music building anymore is for lessons and for ensembles.

Yeah, I pretty much live in Knight hall. Of the 6 major classes that I am taking....FIVE of them are in Knight. The only class that is not in Knight is my psychology class.

So yeah I have all that to deal with. Scientific Inquiry is a joke. Psychology is easy if I just skim the book or the online companion to said book. New Testament is easy because it's a 100-level and I've already had 3 courses at the 300-level in that discipline. Only challenge for New Testament is getting up in the morning. I thought my philosophy class(intro to ethics) was going to be really cool. Yeah it's the most boring thing on this planet. The professor is monotone and not very loud. And I hate reading so much Greek philosophy that my eyes are about to fall out.

Death and Dying is going to be an interesting thing. Someone in the class is actually going to "die". It's a simulation whatchacallit. We all had to write essays on both why we should die and shouldn't die. There's also journals and a lot of book reviews. This class has a bigger workload than my other ones. Kinda sucks.

Continental lit is fun. Dr. Davis a trip! He says the craziest things and does not really run class in the most orthodox way. That's ok.
Yeah, funny thing about that class. Ok, we're reading Dante's Inferno right now. He wrote the full title of the Divine Comedy on the board, and I managed to convince myself it was Italian even though it looked like Latin. I answered when he inquired as to the language. I said Italian. WRONG. It was Latin, however the rest of the work is in Italian(which I knew). The same class period we were talking about Dante and the influences in the work. Very heavy Catholic influence. It's pretty obvious. We were discussing that, and he was like "Just out of curiosity, how many Catholics do we have in here?" I, without even thinking about it, raised my hand. Yeah I was the only one. I'm not ashamed of the fact or anything, but I get the impression from this guy that he may decide to recall that fact when certain issues come up.

Oh yes, and I have decided I am going to attempt to learn how to read Greek. Don't ask.....
