messing around with wayne's wide-angle lens for his camcorder
Marble was amazing
Seriously great.
Had a blast.
Though I kind of feel bad for some people who went there to go tubing
only to find out both days that they couldn't.
Then there was people who complained that the trip "sucked so bad", even though they didnt give skiing/snowboarding a chance, by quitting before the first 10 minutes of their lesson.
Me and mike had to get tested when we got there; the instructor had to be sure we could snowboard alright before they let us on the slopes.
She was pretty cool, a good laugh. Snowboarder girls are usually cool. And generally hot.
Me and mike went through the test flawlessly, and after 2 runs with her, sle let us on our own, and we hit the slopes non-stopped for the rest of the day. Hit up the park and everything. Probably shouldnt of hit the kinked-box FIRST. heh.
Poor skiiers though. Their instructor was apparently a total bitch. She didnt even watch them the whole time, and when it came time for her to tell them if they could go onto the slopes or not, she gave EVERYONE an X, meaning they couldnt go on the slopes, except brittany. Even Kevin and Shannon, who are great skiiers, got X's.
And no offence to Brittany, but she probably should have got an X. heh. She told us she thinks so too.
Once when she was coming off the slopes, and i was waiting for mike to come down by the lift, she couldnt stop, and seriously PLOUGHED into me. Knocked me off my feet. What if she hit someone she didnt know? It was a one in like thirty chance of hitting me, the only one she knew in the line. Kinda funny chances, eh? Dustin and Tony who were snowboarding got X's too.
So for the whole day, me and mike were the only ones from our class on the slopes.
Friday night was boring. Very. I wish we could of went night snowboarding.
But saturday was sweet. Perfect conditions. Everyone was allowed to go on the slopes, but still only 4 snowboarders and 4 skiiers were there from our class. Everyone else went to the mall, then most of them complained about the trip after. Why did you go on a SKI trip, NOT ski, then complain because it sucked?
Fun for the ones who went up though. Good times.
Sunday I had sore shoulders and back, a bit of windburn on my face that got through the bandana, and a bit of frostbite on my wrist that was facing the wind and cold. But I want to go again more than anything.
Sick today.
