I have to disagree - I have known some pretty clueless computer users and find them to be much less frustrating to deal with than someone with whom I cannot communicate due to a language barrier.
My natural inclination to be tolerant and worldly lasts about 2-3 minutes and then I want to either burst into tears or throw the offending equipment out a window...
I have plenty of stories for you... How about...my monitor is not working can you please come take a look... It turns out that the monitor was just turned off. I have countless stories like that one...it makes you wanna pull your hair out.
lol, I know what you mean :) I'm the de facto "IT person" at my company (scary, huh?) I think about you every time someone is having computer problems and shows up at my desk and I ask them if they rebooted their PC... lol

But seriously, the outsourced-to-India tech support industry makes me nuts... They should migrate to an IM system - I know that they all speak fluent English, but it's so heavily accented that it's hard to understand over the phone. How much easier would it be to communicate serial numbers and stuff that way?
