Oh, I seem to have forgotten the art of feedback but that, that was brilliant.

I'm struggling for words but this sentance...

A battle wages in those blue eyes, and again, Kahlan finds herself shaken by the visions, because that haunted look on an otherwise steely face seems at once familiar and … intimate and yet Kahlan has absolutely no…

... sets the story up perfectly for me and I can't wait for more :)

Great chapter :) generally, I think this LOTS Western AU is an awesome idea - I hope you'll keep on writing it, because it already looks very interesting and I'm really curious what is going to happen next ;)

I'm just not sure about one thing - in your story Cara has blue eyes?

Well, in every story I read she has green eyes, and Kahlan's are blue, so I got kind of confused here ;]

Eeeeeeeeee! I love this so very, very much. The 'flashback' Kahlan experienced was an interesting slant to add. Also, I love it when Cara calls Kahlan 'Confessor'. In any universe. I'm so looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Oh, and I'm glad you changed Cara's eye colour to green ;)
