Hmm. Good question! You can definitely get out of it without playing Red Dead. I'm just using the setting, and the setting is the Wild West. As for Legend of the Seeker? Um... I think so? I mean a lot of the nuances will be lost because they pertain to the actual series and their role in it, and eventually we will discover who they were in these past lives, but I hope it's readable. But you should watch Legend of hte Seeker. Especially the second season. It's... pretty awesome.
