A recap/translation/picspam hit list of Pepa/Silvia moments on Los Hombres De Paco. Done for the flist because a few of the youtube clips don't have subtitles, and knowing what people are saying (more or less) is nice.
Though I think I may be going overboard with the pictures...
ON GETTING EPISODES:
Since I get this question a lot - there are two ways that tend to be the easiest for people who don’t want to troll youtube: veoh.com and bittorrent. For Pepa and Silvia scenes exclusively, you can always visit the Pepa Y Silvia message board, which features downloads of episodes cut to just feature those scenes:
http://pepaysilvia.mforos.com/ Unfortunately, none of those have subtitles, so for that? You'll have to rely on the kindness of the youtubers and hope Antenna3's habit of pulling off every episode wanes.

Unfortunately, the romantic getaway orchestrated by Pepa also drew the attention of an overly-paranoid Povedilla, who, afraid they were going into a dangerous situation without backup, spilled the beans to Silvia's father, Don Lorenzo. The police chief caught them in the act, but surprised everyone when the quietly devastated man admitted he didn't understand them, but supported them regardless.
It was one bright spot for Silvia and Pepa in a horrific week: their niece Sara had been secretly aiding and abetting her boyfriend (and Silvia's ex) Lucas evade the police after he had been accused of murder and gang affiliations. She was arrested, and after a message from Lucas, agreed to cooperate for full immunity.
As for Lucas? He got blown up in an exploding van.
EPISODE 4x24: Povedilla's Leftovers Get the Best Funeral Ever
SCENE: THE FUNERAL
The family of Lucas somberly walks the casket over to the burial sight. Sara, his current lover, is numb and distant. Silvia, Lucas' ex-wife, is clearly distraught and devastated. She is supported by Montoya and a concerned Pepa, who she clutches onto for dear life.
As they arrive at the funeral spot, the priest asks Paco to say a few words for Lucas. Paco is not good with speeches at all.

Everyone blinks, because Lucas was accused of infiltrating a gang and murdering a Interpol office.
PACO: Well… he was a good cop… until the very end, when he turned. But he was a man that you could depend on.
Again everyone blinks.
PACO: Well… you could depend on him when you could depend on him absolutely. And when you couldn't… [he trails off] I don't know what else I could say.
MARIANO: Amen, Paco. Say Amen.
PACO: Amen.
He is rescued by his wife Lola, who adds on to his speech eloquently and sweetly.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1qTD5TMrRY LOLA: I don't know if Lucas was a good policeman or not. It doesn't really matter to me. What I do know is that he was much more than that for me. He was a son. Your children will hook up with bad people, they'll give you tons of trouble, they'll bring home a girlfriend you'd least expect. [nods to Sara] But… no matter what they are, or what they do they will never stop being your children. And you'll love them forever.
The group stares somberly.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KacLEuWhoj0 Mariano presents Sara with a box of Lucas' personal effects, given to him by the Commander Salgado. Sara shakily opens the box, but is overwhelmed, and flees the scene. Lola follows, but Paco is frustrated.
PACO: Mariano, do you really think this was the appropriate time to give those things to Sara?
MARIANO: I thought she should have them. I also wanted her to have Lucas' gun.
He pulls out a gun he's been holding. Paco doesn't think it's appropriate but Curtis thinks the best thing to do would be to 'give' Lucas back his gun. Bury it with him.
As the group, Aitor, Rita, Povedilla, Montoya and a quietly devastated Silvia all nod their agreement, Mariano approaches the grave gingerly.
After a moment of silence, he drops the gun into the grave.
Immediately there is a BANG! And the entire crowd jumps as the gun goes OFF, nearly causing a hysterical stampede.
MARIANO: I'm sorry, father! [to the annoyed priest] There was a bullet left in the chamber! I'm sorry!
A concerned Pepa pulls a clearly shaken Silvia close.
FLASHBACK
26 HOURS EARLIER
A quietly emotional Silvia barely manages to keep it together as she gives Salgado the full report on the tests she's run on the exploding van. She confirms that the teeth found in the van confirm that they are a match for Lucas Fernandes.
SILVIA: I've also a bit of the tooth and some organic remains to Central to confirm the DNA.
She hands Salgado the report. Povedilla knocks on the door.
POVEDILLA: Excuse me.
SALGADO: Come in, Agent.
POVEDILLA: I came to take…
He notes the remains and falls silent, overwhelmed. Silvia's face breaks and Salgado begins to squirm in the face of all this emotion.
POVEDILLA: Oh my god. [Silvia's expression cracks] One day you're just hanging out with your friends, cruising the streets, eating out, and the next… a box of dust, two teeth, and a toe.
Silvia begins to quietly sob. Salgado has never been this uncomfortable in her life. Povedilla finally sees the effect he's having on Silvia, Lucas' ex-wife.
POVEDILLA: I'm sorry. I'm sorry Inspector, I just-- I'm sorry.
He awkwardly wraps her in quick hug, which she takes gladly, and after a quick kiss on the cheek they both break free, trying to hold it together.
POVEDILLA: Well, I'm here to pick up the remains of the Subinspector for the burial-
He picks up the box.
SALGADO: Leave that box where it is.
Povedilla and Silvia are stunned.
SALGADO: [awkwardly] Nobody is going to bury anything until I have a good grasp of what happened on this case and I have a closed investigation in my hands.
POVEDILLA: With all due respect, Commander, you know that type of investigation could last months. And during all that time, the subinspector will just be sitting here in a box of dust-
SALGADO: I'm not going to argue you this with you, Agent. [to Silvia] Alert Central, so they can make this a top priority. We need to get those results as soon as possible. Good afternoon.
She leaves. Povedilla and Silvia cast each other agonized glances, and then Povedilla reaches out to grab hold of her hand. The two embrace again. Alone and in her friend's arms, Silvia finally allows herself to break down.
AT THE FUNERAL
Youtube link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_Tn5Kh1umY The casket is lowered into it's grave. The priest announces it's time to drop the flowers into the grave. Don Lorenzo tries to go, but is beat to the punch by Aitor and Curtis, who drop their flowers. Again he tries, but this time, he watches uncomfortably as Pepa leads Silvia to the grave.
Silvia gives Pepa flowers, and Pepa drops them in. Silvia drops hers, but breaks down in the middle of doing so, and reaches for Pepa. Pepa leads her distraught lover away.
Again, Don Lorenzo is unable to put his flower in the grave, until Mariano allows him to go first. Unfortunately, Mariano doesn't back up and when Don Lorenzo turns to retreat, he bumps into Mariano and FALLS INTO THE GRAVE.
The funeral party SHRIEKS and lean over the grave. Pepa immediately juts her hand down, offering it to Don Lorenzo.
MARIANO: Are you okay, Don Lorenzo?
Don Lorenzo is PISSED. Mariano worsens the insult by accidentally dropping his bouquet of flowers right on top of him.
MARIANO: Push the flowers aside and give me your hand!
DL: Fuck your hand, I'm going to grab your balls!
FLASHBACK: 17 HOURS BEFORE
At the precinct, Povedilla breaks the news about Lucas' lack of funerals to the grieving Hombres: Curtis, Rita and Aitor. As they reminiscing about Lucas, they decide that they can't allow their comrade to suffer such a disgraceful death.
YOUTUBE LINK:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxTFT4m7bnY With Rita standing guard, the three guys break into the laboratory and proceed to steal Lucas' ashes. Povedilla has second thoughts.
POVEDILLA: Look guys, I'm the first guy to want to give the Subinspector a proper burial, but to replace the ashes of our friend with the ashes of my grill?! That's… wrong guys! That's really wrong!
They open the box and stare at Lucas' ashes. Curtis gets a hold of himself.
CURTIS: Give me the box. Hurry. [lifts the ashes] This is for you, buddy.
He pours the ashes, but releases a cloud of ashe that causes Povedilla and Aitor to get into a choking fit. Povedilla realizes with a dawning horror that he's inhaled the ashes of his friend.
POVEDILLA: I'm sorry, buddy.
They dump the replacement ashes into the box. Aitor blinks.
AITOR: Curtis, Curtis, the fucking sausage! [picks out a charred lump of meat] The FUCKING SAUSAGE is still in there!
CURTIS: Whatever, just close it!
Rita bangs on the door, signaling someone's coming. The boys scurry to finish topping off the box and clean off the spilled ashes.
Salgado and Silvia enter the lab, startled to find the boys standing somberly over the box of ashes.
RITA: What did I tell you? We were just in here, paying our respects to Lucas.
Awkward silence. Povedilla decides to sing a hymn. Silvia is overcome. Salgado wants to pull her hair out. The others join in.
Salgado loses her patience.
SALGADO: Please. Please. PLEASE. Look, I have no idea what you're doing but this is a crime lab, not a church.
POVEDILLA: Forgive me, Commander. But since you haven't given us permission to bury our friend, we just came in here to say a few prayers-
SALGADO: Povedilla, Povedilla, please. Leave.
The group subtly grabs their ashes and leave, eavesdropping through the window as Silvia and Salgado are left alone.
AT THE FUNERAL
It goes on. Lots of sniffling and crying are involved. We begin to realize what they are crying over is the ashy deposits of Povedilla's grill.
15 HOURS EARLIER
YOUTUBE LINK:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnmUFeSWmcM Salgado and Silvia again.
SILVIA: Here is the homing beacon. It's practically burnt to a crisp. Sara confirmed that she implanted it in Lucas' arm in case anything happened. The gas tank was full with about 55 liters of gas which provoked a giant explosion and 450 degree heat. At that level of heat, Lucas would have been burned completely and his remains would have been melted with the polyester of the seat.
SALGADO: And it's definite that the body parts that remained identify Lucas Fernandes.
SILVIA: Yes, the rest of it was turned to ashe. It's my recommendation that we trust in the lab results from Central and bury the ashes of Lucas.
She grabs hold of the box, but Salgado stops her.
Outside, the group is watching.
SALGADO: I am sorry, Inspector, but my orders were clear. These remains are part of an ongoing case.
Povedilla begins to sweat, he's just realizes that he's got bones in those ashes that he's eaten and dumped in the ashes.
Don Lorenzo interrupts Salgado and Silvia and asks Silvia to give them time alone. She does so.
Don Lorenzo appeals to Salgado to allow them to bury Lucas. Finally, she agrees. Unfortunately, Don Lorenzo, who has since received the love email Mariano sent to him back when he was still trying to set up Salgado with DL, now tries to awkwardly hit on her as well.
Salgado, who is now engaged in a secret affair with Mariano, has no clue what's going on, and it only makes it worse when Povedilla, paranoid and panicking, decides to interrupt and 'confess' about the ashes. Unfortunately, he begins with a detailed explanation of what he had cooked on the barbeque that weekend and never actually gets to the part where he switched the ashes, which leads everyone to think he'sa moron.
AT THE FUNERAL
The funeral comes to a close and the procession starts.
YOUTUBE CLIP:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZ99fd1wFXY Sara finally begins to break down and cry and Paco leads her to the limousine. He opens the door, and Sara looks in and sees LUCAS sitting in the car.
Before she can react, Paco pushes her in the car and into Lucas' arms. Lucas holds her as she breaks down, and he explains carefully that his 'death' was all a setup to free him orchestrated by Mariano, Paco and him to free him.
Paco leans in and tells them to go, but Salgado, ever on the watch for suspicious activity, realizes with shock that there are TWO sets of hands clutching Paco's out of the limousine.
She keeps it to herself, but she's now suspects: Lucas is alive.
As Sara and Lucas drive away from town, we get a flash of things to come:
YOUTUBE LINK:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRHr_Ofi5nk It doesn't look pleasant.
Next Up: Lucas and Sara resolve to get married, but they need a fake passport and Sara's birth certificate first. Salgado is determined to exhume the remains of Lucas on suspicion that he's still alive. No one is happy to hear that.
