A bit of Jef Wayne, top listening:D
I have to catch up on my hikers as well, I need to listen to secondary so I can listen to tertiary. So much to listen to, and arguments with Eris over whether we watch cartoons or listen to top radio dramas are always fun *rolls eyes*

AICN is gettign very exitable about the new WoTW - and it does sound impressive, telling the tail of a war from the perspective of someone living through it, not grandstanding for large effect pieces - and there are homages to the novel, apparently. However good that might all be (avoiding the ID4 spectacle route 'let's destroy to golden gate bridge!!/fill in the grand canyon! etc) I cannot help but desperately pine for the film we're not getting - a direct translation of the novel, a 19th century period piece with all the power of a modern production depicting Cannon battles and deadly swan-like space ships and Tom Cruise or little Dakota Fanning nowhere in sight. (Sorry Tom.)
and yes Jeff Wayne is top notch. < ok >

I managed to finish the audio on the old mp3 player while out gving blood on Monday, even managed a disc and a half of hikers too. Top listening:D
