Public Service Announcement
As of yesterday I will never buy another bottle of bottled water, Coka-cola (and its products) and Pepsi (along the same lines as coke). Not only can a single glass of most sodas turn your endocrine system alkaline (the only type of bodily system cancer can grow in), not only do they put fluoride into most bottled waters (and spring waters and filtered waters and mineral waters) one of the only enamel strengthening chemicals that also has the lovely side affect of slowing down synapses in the brain firing so that you think slower, not only do they add aspartame to most of their so called 'diet' drinks (and most things that claim to be sugar free) a chemical originally used as a BIOLOGICAL WEAPON because it turns into formaldehyde the second it hits stomach acid (yes, the stuff so lethal they make you wear those gloves in biology class so it doesn't get on your skin), not only do they use subliminal advertising despite the fact it is illegal, just in non-illegal ways, and continue the disgusting habit of making young people feel like they have to be skinny to the point of unhealthy just to be beautiful (look at models before Sigmund Freud's son took over advertising, they were what we would now classify as grotesquely over weight when they were not fat but muscular, and had that little bit of stomach pudge that is supposed to be normal), BUT they also short change most third-world countries to get their numbers up and get the water they need!
THAT'S RIGHT! COKE, PEPSI AND A COUPLE OTHER WATER COMPANIES OWN MOST OF THE WATER IN THIRD-WORLD COUNTRIES! THEY TAKE IT, PURIFY WHAT THEY CANNOT USE AND THEN SELL IT BACK TO THEM AT INFLATED PRICES! DID YOU KNOW THAT IN ETHIOPIA A BOTTLE OF COLA COST SUBSTANTIALLY LESS THAN A BOTTLE OF PURIFIED WATER? WHY? BECAUSE COKE, WHO ALSO OWNS THE BOTTLED WATER COMPANY WILL NOT CHANGE THE BOTTLES FOR THE WATER TO PLASTIC, AND CONTINUES TO ONLY PRODUCE THE GLASS BOTTLED COKE IN AMERICA. NOT ONLY THAT BUT IN DOING SO THEY ARE GIVING THESE PEOPLE ALL OF THE ABOVE POINTS WHICH IS BAD ENOUGH, BUT THEY ARE STEALING THE ONE RESOURCE MORE PRECIOUS THAN GOLD, OIL AND ALL OTHERS COMBINED!! IN DOING SO THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE LITERALLY DYING EACH AND EVERY DAY BECAUSE THE MAJOR COMPANIES OWN THE ONLY GOOD DRINKING WATER THEY HAVE. AND WHAT COKE AND PEPSI DO NOT OWN WE FIND FIELDS OF FRUITS, ALSO OWNED BY AMERICAN CORPORATIONS. FRUITS THAT NEED COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF PURE WATER TO GROW. THEIR NUMBERS ARE TOO MANY TO NAME, AND THEY GROW THIS FOOD IN A COUNTRY WHERE THERE IS A SHORTAGE, USING THE WATER THEY ARE PRAYING FOR, AND THEN SQUEEZING THE JUICES FROM THE FRUITS AND BOTTLING IT, AND SELLING IT WORLDWIDE AND BACK, ONCE AGAIN TO THE PEOPLE WHO CAN HOPE TO AFFORD IT, AT TRIPLE THE PRICE! SOMETIMES EVEN MORE! IT IS AN ABOMINATION! AND ONE THAT WILL NOT STOP UNLESS PEOPLE START DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
I'm sure my little lack of sales will not make a difference...but I'm trying to spread the word to make one. So please I PLEAD WITH YOU, STOP BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS, read the labels, and remember that just because something is bottled in one place, doesn't mean it wasn't taken from another.
