Since I was in Jacksonville, I thought I might go tie shopping at the local thrift stores. Sadly enough, the selection of ties ranged from gaudy to not subtle. But, I finally found it. I have finally come in to possession of a plain black dress shirt. Oddly enough I have gone with out this staple article of clothing for quite some time, however I own numerous black pin stripey dress shirts.
I love going to other cities' thrift stores because it introduces another element of random. It's much like playing the Florida Lottery and then crossing in to the Georgia border to play Power Ball. Except that the odds of winning something are just a bit higher... Mental note: I'm pretty sure that I have hit my quota for daily dress shirt rotations. Stop buying dress shirts.
Oddly, I ran in to many pairs of size 8 woman's boots that were vintage-y and Victorian-ish. They looked rather sad and it's a shame that they will have to wait on a shoe rack for a new owner.
