So here's how Blizzard Updater for World of Warcraft works:

2. Rip out all the good parts of bittorrent (namely, ease of file transfer)
3. Give you a very very small piece of file, to get you started. Hey, they're nice guys.
4. RAPE YOUR UPLOAD FOR EVERY KILOBYTE POSSIBLE, while giving you no more parts.
5. CONTINUE to rape your upload until you have uploaded your 500kb to every one of those 5 million players currently downloading the update.
6. give you another 500 kb piece.
7. Return to step 4, repeat.
Argh... 76 megs, 7.51 megs downloaded. In like an hour. Argh.
