Long Day at Work

Dec 06, 2003 00:29

I thank God that I've gotten through this day with out a nervous break-down. That's proably a bit of an over statement but I did have an anxiety attack while I was reading the agreement(the contract that people sign when they sign up for monitoring) a second time to a second person about sending a cancellation request in writting. For some reason today people wanted to be pissy about sending their requests(data changes or cancellation requests)by fax or mail. I have enough trouble and work to do since the co-workers don't care to do their work or don't care to get it done correctly and I guess they enjoy back stabbing the people with morals and a hard to break sense of duty. As of late that business has been around for over 15 years and there hasn't been any sort of disciplinary system set up - however per my request(whining) and utilizing an idea that I modified from the Knotts Berry Farm disciplinary system there soon will be one set up. Sadly, I don't think it will be soon enough. The fact that I did have an anxiety attack today alarms me greatly and I need to get out of there soon. Things just keep getting worse and no one cares - I feel sorry for the customers who think they are so much safer with a home security system and monitoring from that joke of a business.

On a better note I will be babysitting Michelle's kids, Michelle is the one who had a baby a few months ago. And let me tell you I adore that baby, her name in Iona and she is the Punk Rock Baby! She has a Natural mohawk and last night at the Bible Study she was giving everyone the "don't mess with me" look she just needed a spiked collar and cuffs! I'll post pics if I can get my hands on any.

I saw Gothika tonight it was pretty good but filmed totally in digi format and during the non-action non-special effects parts it got quite annoying. I think digital is great for action, sfx, and a very raw or gritty footage but for the other stuff stick with film. The movie was pretty good some of the dialogue could have been better and the beginning was noticeably slow compared to the pace of the rest of the movie. With all those things aside it was a good movie after the life altering event.

I also got Jason's b-day gift and I feel I have defeated a challenge! I found the ever alusive N'ice Chouffe beer!!! It took a few hours of searching on line and in book stores for me to find the actual website (which has a happy little beer theme song)www.achouffe.be
Then I emailed the info person on the site of how I would obtain the beer, he then directed me to the CA distributer and I then called the distributer, who directed me to Beverages and More, which then directed me to The Wine Exchange at the Orange Mall and there it was....I WIN!!! I'm also ordering cups from the brewery that makes that stuff and Jason had best be one happy red faced guy this Christmas!

I also got the PTF VNV Nation CD today and it is beautiful!
