Winter Begins...
Ok, so I'm running out of "Winter" phrases to use for HBO Game of Thrones news...but I don't care! Because tonight, during the pre-show leading up to the premiere of Season 3 of True Blood, HBO broadcast the very first teaser trailer for Game of Thrones. You can see it here.
They've also set up a sub-page on the HBO site dedicated to the show, finally. And they have released the first promotional still of any of the major characters. Ladies and gentlemen, here he is, Lord Eddard Stark...

All I can say is...*so* psyched. Now I just can't wait 'til we get our first look at Dinklage as Tyrion. Or more casting news, like Littefinger, the Mountain, Varys, Barristan the Bold, etc. Or the first real trailer, with dialogue and actual bits of scenes. Or...anything that helps me get through the next 9 or so months until it airs!
By the way, when it does air...GoT viewing party at our house!
