I stumbled upon Terminator Salvation fic months before I ever saw the movie and wondered “why would folks slash those two together? Kyle’s supposed to end up with Sarah Connor?” Then I saw the movie and it all made sense. What I specifically like about heeroluva’s fic is that it's one answer to the “what happens to Kyle & Star after everything the movie?” question. Also, the angst and h/c is strong in this fic and I do love my angst with a side of angst and a drizzle of h/c
