First, I didn’t even know I wanted this pairing (heck, I didn’t know about Dr. Boyce, since I haven’t watched any of the Star Trek series) until zauzat pointed me to imachar’s stories. Second, the fic (part of a greater universe with eight one-shots so far) hits one of my favorite kinks: the high-strung, tightly-wound control freak finally gives it up someone he/she trusts.
