Supplemental to the February’s Random Rec challenge: Cookleta
There are so many amazing Cook/Archuleta fic out there and I fear the random fic generator won’t do this fandom justice. I know RPF isn’t everyone’s cuppa, so everything is under the cut. But if you can get past the fact that it’s technically real people we’re talking about and like excellent writing, take a chance and click!

Becaust astolat is a master and turns the entire young!innocent Archie characterization on its head!

Fake or accidently married leading to real married is one of my tropes. Good god, this is one of my favorites, in any fandom.

Another favorite trope of mine: the bonding fic. Another astolat masterpiece.

However, things aren’t so easy for David Cook, who faces the rare dilemma of a blank TiMER; his soul mate-whoever and wherever they are-doesn’t have a TiMER. Sick of relationships that are failed from the start, he finally decides to give up - until he meets a charming young shop employee named David.
A rather intriguing premise for a fic (even if it’s based on a movie-has many people heard of it?) and an excellent execution of said premise.

Summary: David and Cook were always destined for a happily ever after - but their lives are anything but conventional, so why should their ending be any different?
Yet another fake-dating leads to real feelings and dating. And it’s really good.

Summary: David Archuleta runs into David Cook while at college. David Cook just happens to be a hooker.
There are several Cookleta College AU fics. This is one of my favorites, if only because hooker!Cook, FTW!
