I did mention the 'having way too much fun with this', right? And yet somehow, when I started this, I never thought that vintage Sesame Street tunes would be making it into this story. And yet here they are.

I was going to say that I wasn't aware how much I needed Brendon and Patrick to be singing kids songs with random children until I wrote this, except that that is a lie. I've needed them singing children's songs ever since I firs read Skoosie's magic friend band story. <3 ( ... )

When I first read the header, "road trip", I thought you meant you were on a road trip. *duh* Have I ever mentioned I'm not my best in the morning? just checking.

So I settled in to see what you'd been up to (hoping to live vicariously through someone else's vacation) when I got to the first sentence.

Holy crap! I bounced. honest to god bounced in my chair. I did a quick check to the top of the page and noticed, "randmscribblins", and I thought, SCOREI know you're just fleshing these out, but I really truly (with all my heart) hope these get all tied together and reposted. This fic has been so much fun to read! I love the way you let each character explore this "alone" time in their own way. I'm sure Brendon doesn't get any time to just be off and goof. (seeing re-enactments and donkey's?? Hell yeah!) And it's probably been a while since Patrick's been able to just veg and read mags, listen to music and chill. (he's bff's with Pete. How much "you're not looking at me, Patrick!" time do you think Pete would let him get away with ( ... )
