The Photo Album

warning: if you read jerry's journal, this entry may come off as repetitive.

i've been listening to the photo album recently (death cab for those who suck), and every single song reminds me of last christmas/spring break with jerry, zac, will and ronnie. here's how the whole group came together, that is the guys and me and jerry: i saw zac at a POX concert and we started chatting it up and i was like "i hang out a lot with jerry now" and he replied with a "oh cool, we should hang out sometime, i think jerry has my number blahblahblah". so we did hang out. i had already known will through other group functions, but he sorta brought it all together, and of course zac brought in ronnie. christmas break was definitely drug-induced bonding, esp. with new years parties and such. i never realized how quickly we all became friends, because after hanging out almost every day over the break (which in reality was a month for them, less than that for me), jerry and i had no problem spending the night at wills or driving to san marcos to stay with zac and ronnie. my highlight of that break was watching "a clockwork orange" on jerrylynn's wall in her room using zac's dad's projector, so it was HUGE and we were all curled up on the floor with blankets and pillows. i think it was just a good combination of personalities, we all seem to mesh very well and compliment eachother, and we also dont take bullshit and are very odd in our own ways. anyone remember the "journal" thingy will had at trinity? well, one day me and jerry had will hostage in her car and we were making him jam out to britney(dirh), and we were saying how he was going to write about this on his site, and how we were absolutely ridiculous. well, he did write about us, and how there is actually more to us than a bitch and a ditz, and i think that really solidified our whole relationship... if that makes any sense. basically we became a big ball of love.

so anyway, jerry and i had planned to drive to alabama, but after finding out renting a car was waaay to expensive, we opted to drive to san marcos to vist the boys instead. we stayed in their dorm and made zac sleep on the couch, and all-in-all it was a good experience. he burned us a CD for the trip back to austin and it had "We Laugh Indoors" on it (it was number 3 i think), and jerry and i were addicted to it. i think thats the only song we really listened to on that cd, sorry zae. so anyway, spring break pretty much consisted of us listening to The Photo Album, drinking/smoking on jerrys backporch, and going to spiderhouse. there is not a song on that cd that doesnt remind me of us a a group, or one of them individually, and 30 years from now, i know i can just pop it in and think of them all again.

p.s. this entry was choppy and a bit confusing, but hey, thats how my memory rolls.
