the job front
ok... so I am SO god damned bored at my new job.... and I've been told this is the busy season... one up side is that the work that I am doing is rather interesting, I just blow through it so quickly that I have a lot of time on my hands... so I've actually been reading... this is an accomplishment for me, I haven't been able to get myself to read for some time because I was always seduced by Scottie's big screen... but not I'm reading again and this time I'm getting paid for it... currently, I am reading up on the history of Julius Caesar... but I didn't start with Caesar, the author recommends familiarizing yourself with Caesars contemporaries before reading Caesar history to put his life into context so I have begun with the Gracchi... worked my way to Marius and Sulla, recently finished Pompey and have started Crassus, although arguably I should have read Crassus before Pompey but that's ok...
I don't know why it took me a day to figure this out, but at first I had exhausted every news outlet on the internet and found myself bored again before I realized, hey... although I can not blatantly sit here and read a book I'm sure that the internet has plenty of those... book thingies... I was going to start with the Republic but then something just snapped in my head and I decided that I didn't know enough about Julius Caesar... ok, I just now realized something else... I was actually capable of bring all of that boredom home with me and share it with all of you... yeah, I apologize about that... I'll stop now.
oh, gave blood today... the overly aggressive nurse didn't even bother to mask the needle piercing my flesh... generally they do that for me.
