The Weekend
Wow, its been pretty up and down all weekend, Friday was nice and relaxing, there was no gaming. Everyone else was off watching the new harry potter movie. So we spent a nice evening at home watching Babylon five and sorting out lego. the sorting process is a long and slow process but we both figure in the end it will be worth it.
Saturday got off to a crappy crappy start. Alex woke me up and we went down to Auto list for an appointment first thing in the morning, which turned in to spending the better part of the day hanging out and waiting. One the plus side, the side door, nor closes properly and does not beep every time you hit the smallest bump. And we found out that we will have to take the van to a ford dealer to have the computer flashed, with some updates.
We headed off in the later part of the afternoon to Tammy & Craig, for a house blessing. It went really well and was a lot of fun. I total Fu-barred my invocations. I knew right up to the time I walked up to the candle and then it was gone. It was not a good feeling, but in the end it all came together.
I for see a Monty Python Night at some point in the future. Perhaps a Python Sing-a-long night.
Sunday morning we slept till around 8 got up and had a great Scambled egg & Toast breakfast. Then the three of us were off to the witchery to work on taking down the decorations and begin the prep work for the changes taking place. Pretty much everything is off the walls, Becca broke up all the old wheat things in the corner and cut up a calender. Alex worked on plans for cushions, and helped with cleaning, I helped move things around and took down things from high places.
Then after a group lunch at George's we went our seperate ways. After updating our burner with something new we got laundry started and worked on making candles for the afternoon. They turned out to be some of the best ones we have made. Saddly the same cannot be said for the roast I made for supper, the water all dried up and made for an awful roast.
