<3 <3 v-day and anniversary! <3 <3
well on valentine's day i sent jens out of the apt. all day so that i could completly clean and rearrange his room! it took me 6 hours but it looks awesome now!!! all that hard work really paid off :o)i bought him several different storage devices at office max and that really helped to get everything in order. when he got home he was so shocked! he loved it! he said it even makes HIM want to keep it clean! amazing! :o) im so glad i was able to do that for him. he said it was the best present i could have gotten him! i got him a bunch of candy too though ;o) and that night we went out to eat at mony's (an italian restaurant) and it was really good! we drank an entire bottle of wine and i was definitely tipsy when we got out of there! lol something cool happened while we were at the restaurant though. this guy stood up and announced to everyone that he wanted to marry the girl he was having dinner with! she said yes and it was so cool to witness that :o) ah...love! :o)
then on wed. we just had a lazy day. i really dont quite remember what all we did lol
but yesterday was our 3 year anniversary!!!! i cant believe we've been together that long! it doesnt seem like 3 years ya know? it was such a beautiful day too! i was so surprised at how warm it was! i slept in pretty late but when i got up we went to lunch with ally at ABC. after that we hung out at the apt for a while cuz they needed to practice for their show sat. night. i headed up to victoria's secret later that afternoon to get something cute to wear that night and then when i got back we got ready to go. we ate at st. emilion's in ft worth which is a really fancy french restaurant that i love! 4 course meal, candlelight, wine, everything! it's great :o) after dinner we wanted to go to barnes and nobles but the one in ft. worth closes at 10pm! so that kinda sucked, esp. since it was SO FREAKING COLD by that point! texas weather is really screwed up! 75 one day, 35 the next! anyway, after our failed attempt at B&N we decided to just head over to the hotel where we were staying that night. jens got the romance package at the hilton and it was so nice! we had free champagne, a nice little gift basket that came with champagne flutes, chocolate, etc. and two breakfasts in bed the next morning! it was so much fun! :o) i cant wait til our wedding night! i love staying in fancy hotels with champagne and chocolates! lol :o)
today we went home for lunch and then we hung out at the new coffee house on campus- cup'a joe's. it's the one i was talking about that is in the same building/house that emilio's and chutney's used to be in. anyway, they've really turned it into a cute cozy place! they painted the walls, hung up a bunch of art and other various decorations, put in some comfy couches and it looks great now! their chai is pretty good too ;o) the only thing is it has a lot of windows and it was freeeeeeezing today so we didnt stay long cuz it was cold in there :o\ we went back to the apt. to read some more and then i took a nap. when i got up jens and i ate dinner and watched wife swap. it was the episode with that crazy out of her mind bible banger lady. i had heard about it but i hadnt actually seen it yet. i guess she was so crazy they decided to play the episode again! lol omg, i couldnt believe how insane she acted! i feel really sorry for people like that that cant hear anyone else out. they have their views which they think everyone else should listen to and accept but they cant do the same for other people. it's just not fair. even her family was looking at her like she had lost her mind! i felt even worse for them for having to live with her! it was crazyness!
but yeah, jens, joel, and ally went to the open mic tonight at cooper coffee but i didnt feel like going so i hung out here and watched some tv. jens just got back and said they had a good time. there was a crossdressing guy that said they were awesome! lol sorry i missed that! lol
tomorrow i think i'll paint my tile for cooper coffee. that should be fun :o) then AD has a show that night. sun. i think jens and i are finally gonna go to tandoor for the lunch buffet. he's never been! i need to ask them about their catering prices while we're there too. i hope i can have their rice and curry at my wedding cuz it's soooooooooo good Po:
speaking of the wedding, i really need to get crackin'! i did well at the beginning of the month but ive slacked off lately. i need to get the ribbon for the invitations and send that to jens's friend in washington so she can get those made and sent down here. i really wanted to send the invites out asap so people have time to plan. also, i have an appt. with the cake lady on tues. but i havent told my mom about it yet. i hope she can go! we confirmed the photographer, the dj, and one of the caterer's though so that's good. i'll be getting in touch with the florist soon too. i wanted to wait til after v-day cuz i knew she'd be busy. other than that i just need to do little detailed stuff. i have a feeling march and april are going to fly by! i hope things dont get too crazy!
